* Anthony J. Burgio, CFP, CIMA, Director, is a member of the Independent Channel within BlackRock's Retail U.S. Wealth Advisory business. He is a Market Leader working with independent financial advisors throughout Western NY/PA. Mr. Burgio is responsible for delivering the firm's active, indexed, model portfolio and Aladdin risk management/portfolio construction capabilities.

In his priminder emails.or role, Mr. Burgio served as a Market Leader in the Independent Channel responsible for Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. His service with the firm dates back to 2012 when he was hired as an Investment Management Associate working with independent financial advisors in the State of Florida. Prior to joining BlackRock, Anthony began his career as an independent financial advisor, where he built an income tax and financial planning practice centered around advising individuals and families on matters relating to income taxes, wealth management and estate planning.

Mr. Burgio is a Certified Financial Planner professional and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst certification, administered by Investment Management Consultants Association and taught in conjunction with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He earned a BS degree, magna cum laude, in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a minor in History from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2005.
