During the accumulation phase of life we should carefully plan to protect and build our wealth with a focus on turning cash-flow into net-worth. During the distribution phase of life (retirement) we need to learn how to turn net-worth into cash flow. Without a personalized roadmap, the path toward and into retirement can be full of speed bumps and potholes. This is the role I seek to play in my clients’ lives. My mission is to help make the transition into retirement more manageable and less stressful by building a personalized retirement strategy and offering ongoing support, unbiased advice, and objective guidance.


I founded Lutz & Associates with the intention of helping business owners, professionals, and pre-retirees resolve their conflicts and contradictions around money, allowing them to live a more confident and prosperous life.

We believe that most people are experiencing some internal turmoil over the “right” thing to do with their finances. Whether it be over cash flow decisions, estate planning, wealth management, investing, social security choices, business succession or even competing goals such as paying for college and being able to retire. 


Most of my clients fall into one of three categories— Pre-retirees (1-10 years prior to retirement) business owners, and professionals. Regardless of which category you fall into, we have come to realize that YOU are the primary asset and that your beliefs, behavior and attitudes around money have a direct impact on your results.
